Second visit to this very well-kept villa. It's not luxury but simplicity done well. The chef offered to cook us fish for dinner and it was great. The price of the villa is very low, so the value for money is the best of our 21 days in Sri Lanka. Simply exemplary establishment!

Nice big pool and a spacious walkway driveway.Room amenities were not as advertised.Toilet had a single tiny soap bar and two towels on the bed.Wardrobe was quite smelly.Fridge wasn't working great either.Room was clean though and host was responsive.Overall, feel the price is high for the amenities (or lack of it).
Hello:) We stayed our two last nights in Sri Lanka here in Villa Ananthaya and it was amazing! The people here were so friendly, the food was very nice as well and the room was very big and clean:) The pool was the absolute best and the location is also very good to get to the airport! I would absolutely recommend you to stay in VILLA ANANTHAYA if you go to Negombo
We spent there almost 3 weeks, also we just planned to stay 2 days… The reasons are the brilliant host, who always checks if you as guest have everything you need, the beautiful location with nice garden and clean pool.We felt really like home and recommend for everyone.
I arrived here with the option of leaving for another hotel, but decided to stay for 5 days total. Why? Well, a range of reasons. First of all, when I came in I just felt at home. The location is relatively quiet, they have a beautiful garden with a swimming pool and the bigger house is just very nicely constructed. Clean rooms that actually smelled fresh also. The food was also of excellent quality so don’t shy away from having your breakfast, lunch or dinner here. Of course an accommodation is never perfect, neither is this one. But the owner his insane focus on hospitality and me feeling myself so comfortable here, made my stay amazing!Thank you!
Villa Ananthaya is a great place for an stay in Negombo. Some of the reviews from the past years don't match what this great villa has to offer these days:- Clean and spacious rooms.- Fabulous atmosphere. We loved spending time in the common areas both at day and night.- Full equipped kitchen with big fridge and dishwasher.- Very well maintained shared areas including the swimming pool.We stayed here for 4 days and highly recommend it!
